Personal profile


Micaela has 20 years experience across various areas in public health, urban planning and government and has previously served as Mayor of the City of Monash and an Adviser to a Victorian Health Minister.  At present, Micaela is a lecturer at Monash University where she coordinates several undergraduate and post graduate units for the School of Public Health & Preventive Medicine. In addition to this Micaela is a Board Director for Connect Health and Community and also operates her own consultancy specialising in health promotion, community engagement and government relations.  Micaela's interest in public health is prevention, settings and policy focused and she is particularly passionate about the influence gender and where we live, work, play & study can have on our lives.
