Personal profile

Research interests

My research draws on participatory action research and decolonial methodologies, working across migration studies, transcultural studies, and screen studies. My publications examine migrant and Indigenous cinema, transcultural youth leadership, and Italy–Australia relations through a decolonial lens. I currently lead community-engaged fieldwork on youth resilience to disinformation (SEED), contribute to a Horizon Europe consortium on AI and cultural creativity (CULTURAI), and research arts-based approaches to migration, memory and social cohesion (JAMM).
