Biography
Director of Neurosurgery, The Alfred, Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor, School of Translational Medicine, Monash University
A/Prof Martin Hunn works as a neurosurgeon at The Alfred.
His clinical areas of special interest include acoustic neuroma and other cerebellopontine angle tumours, awake resection of low grade glioma, surgery for cerebral aneurysms and arteriovenous malformations, cervical spine surgery and the surgical management of trigeminal neuralgia. A/Prof Hunn has an appointment with the School of Translational Medicine, Monash University. His primary research interest has been immunotherapy for primary brain tumours, but this is evolving to include the management of critically ill patients following traumatic brain injury with intracranial haemorrhage.
