Mark Rickinson is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Education at Monash University. Mark is an experienced educational researcher, evaluator and facilitator who has particular expertise in: evidence-informed policy and practice; and outdoor and environmental learning. His real interest lies in understanding and improving the use and usefulness of educational research.

Mark's work within the Faculty focuses on:

  • developing a program of research and innovation around the use of evidence in educational policy and practice
  • contributing to research and professional learning in the areas of educational leadership and environmental/sustainability learning.  

Mark is keen to hear from prospective research students with an interest in evidence use in educational practice/policy.
