Biography

Mark works in the Faculty of Information Technology at Monash University as an Assistant Lecturer.

Mark graduated from RMIT in 1996 with a graduate diploma in Animation and Interactive Multimedia (AIM). He worked as a freelance animator on the ABC TV series WizeUp as well as being involved in video production and multimedia publishing (C.S.I.R.O.). He is currently lectures in digital video and sound production (live action), special effects and post production and animation. Mark's research area examines the impact of emerging technologies on the production process and the aesthetics of moving image. He also explores the interactive dimension of animated narrative (Conspiracy Theory!, 1996).
