Personal profile

I am a Research Fellow at the School of Biological Sciences, Dowling Lab. I completed my PhD at Plymouth University in Marine Biology (2017) studying variation in behaviour. Upon completion, I undertook a postdoctoral research at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology, where I investigated the genetic underpinning of complex traits in eusocial insects.

I joined the Dowling Lab in late July 2021, and I am currently working with sex-specific effects of mitochondrial mutations in Drosophila melanogaster.
