Biography

Mandy Salisbury is a Ph.D. candidate and casual research assistant in the Faculty of Education at Monash University. She is also an early childhood education trainer in the private and not-for-profit sectors. Mandy has worked as an early years educator and primary school teacher and leader. Earlier career roles included commercial sales, customer service, and business analysis. Mandy has a passion for pursuing equitable educational opportunities and outcomes for educators and children. Her current research work includes understanding early childhood educators’ use of evidence, including research evidence, to support quality teaching practices.
