Biography

Dr. Madeleine Fletcher is a research fellow within the Metabolic G Protein-Coupled Receptor Biology laboratory.  She completed a PhD in Pharmacology and Pharmaceutical Sciences (2014-2018) at Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences examining the role of the internalisation and trafficking of the Glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor, a key target of diabetes and obesity therapeutics. She has a keen interest in drug and therapeutics and their translation to clinical use and her research involves investigating the pharmacology of  treatments for a range of conditions including migraine, diabetes, obesity and vascular disorders.
