I am a passionate and driven medical doctor with an interest in cardiovascular health, cardiac imaging, diabetes, preventative care and medical education.
I have a wealth of experience in many aspects of internal medicine, having worked across multiple subspecialities across the UK and Australia; and have completed my Royal Australasian College of Physicians Basic Physician Training examinations. This examination success compliments my previous completion of the MRCP (UK) part 1 and part 2 written examinations.
My current role is a clinical research fellow for STAREE – the world’s largest randomised controlled clinical trial on the safety and efficacy of statins in the elderly population. I am responsible for ensuring the safety of trial participants, as well as participating in research and analysis of cardiovascular health in older adults and writing manuscripts.
My short-term career ambition is to commence cardiology Advanced Training in 2022. My longer-term goals are to complete an international Fellowship in cardiac imaging, followed by further post-graduate research.
