Biography

Louisa Lam is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the School of Public Health, Monash University. She is also the Deputy Head of School (Melbourne), School of Nursing, Midwifery and Paramedicine (VIC), Faculty of Health Sciences, Australian Catholic University.

Louisa has over 30 years of clinical nursingand academic experience in Hong Kong and Australia. She is specialised in coronary care and has a Masters degree in public health and a PhD in Medicine (Public Health Stream).

Louisa's research areas focus on Cardiovascular disease diagnosis and management, nurses work satisfaction, burnout and resilience; workplace aggression experience. Her research setting mainly in the Emergency Department, Coronary Care, Intensive Care as well as hospitals and community health services.
