Biography

Jason Yeung is a Lecturer in the Department of Occupational Therapy at Monash University. He is involved in the practice education placement coordination within the Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) program. Meanwhile, he is currently enrolled in the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program in the Department of Occupational Therapy, supported by the Research Training Program (RTP) scholarship.

He completed his Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) at Monash University in 2014. During his undergraduate studies, he completed an honours thesis titled 'Identification and evaluation of sensory assessments in respect to their utility in working with children aged 12 years or under'. Also, he was awarded the Department of Occupational Therapy Award for leadership skills and citizenship.

During his early career, he practised clinically in the aged care sector while working as a Teaching Associate and Research Assistant at Monash University. In 2023, he completed the Master of Biomedical Science at the University of Melbourne. As part of the Master's degree, he completed a research thesis titled 'Impacts of intrapersonal and interpersonal factors on benefit finding and quality of life in younger stroke survivors'.
