PhD projects

A PhD project is available that involves working with existing data from the largest long-term study of brain development and child health in the United States, the Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development (ABCD) study. The dataset includes comprehensive measures of psychiatric and physical health as well as brain imaging measures from multiple modalities including structural and functional. The student will have an enthusiasm for research in psychiatry or psychology and will conduct a project within the scope of Dr. Jenkins’ interests, which include neuroimaging, suicide and self-harm, impulsivity, mood, anxiety and other psychiatric disorders.
