Biography

Dr Linh Tran is an education-focused lecturer at Monash University, Australia. She is involved in initial teacher education and master’s-level coursework. Linh has extensive experience as a teacher educator in Vietnam and Australia, specializing in TESOL/EAL education and adult education across various settings, including higher education, AMEP, and ELICOS.

Her teaching and research interests include TESOL/EAL, initial teacher education, language teaching and assessment, multilingual education, and English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI). She also explores teachers’ and learners’ experiences through affordance and situative perspectives within Sociocultural Theory.
