Biography

Dr. Limin Fu is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) at the Department of Management, Monash Business School. Dr. Fu holds a Ph.D. in Management from the University of Adelaide. Prior to Monash, she was a faculty member at The University of Newcastle, where she was recognized with an Early Career Researcher Award. Before her academic career, Dr. Fu worked in several managerial positions with renowned Fortune 500 companies such as Asus, Generali, and CG Holdings.

Leveraging her management experience, Dr. Fu's research is strongly practice-driven. Dr. Fu's research investigates imperative paradoxes in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR/ESG) affecting the long-term Business-Society relationship. Her interdisciplinary approach intersects Sustainability, Strategy, International Business, and Innovation. Dr. Fu's scholarly work has been published in leading journals such as Research Policy (ABDC, A*, FT50), Business & Society (ABDC, A), Long Range Planning (ABDC, A), Journal of Cleaner Production (ABDC, A), and Organization & Environment (ABDC, A), etc.  Dr. Fu's research excellence is also recognized by the Academy of Management with a "Best Paper Award" in 2021 and a nomination for the 2021 "Responsible Research in Management Award".  Beyond her academic publications, Dr. Fu's research has positively impacted practitioners through her articles targeting managers and invited collaborations with internationally renowned companies including Ernst & Young (EY). 

Dr. Fu teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses including Introduction to Management (undergraduate), and has taught Strategic Management (MBA), and International Business (postgraduate). Dr. Fu is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy (Advance HE), and she has received several awards for her innovative and outstanding teaching performance.
