Biography

Leong Shu Min is a Lecturer with the School of IT, Monash University Malaysia. She received her B.Eng (Hons) Electronics majoring in Computer from Multimedia University in 2018 and her Master of Engineering Science from the same university in 2020. During her master candidature in Multimedia University, she worked as a research officer in the same university from September 2018 to November 2019 and mainly work on security-related image processing techniques. She joined Monash University Malaysia in 2019 for her doctoral studies under the supervision of Prof. Raphael Phan and A/Prof. Vishnu Monn Baskaran. In 2023, she obtained her Ph.D. in IT from Monash University, Malaysia. Her research focuses on face analysis, mainly in face and emotion recognition.
