Biography

Lee Jia Jia joined School of Pharmacy, Monash University in July 2023. Prior to joining Monash University, she was a clinical lecturer in SEGi University, Faculty of Pharmacy. She actively involved in coordinating and precepting final year pharmacy students for Community Pharmacy, Hospital Pharmacy and Clinical Pharmacy Placement activities in both private and public healthcare settings under the Ministry of Health Malaysia. She also supervised a few important students’ activities such as national public health campaign and Pledge of Professionalism for pharmacy students.

Jia Jia obtained Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons) from International Medical University (IMU). Upon graduation, she started to serve as a provisionally registered pharmacist at a tertiary public hospital in Selangor followed by a 2 years’ service in a primary healthcare setting with the Ministry of Health Malaysia. She was then decided to continue her studies in University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and graduated with Master in Clinical Pharmacy. She is a fully registered pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board Malaysia, and also a member of Malaysian Pharmacists Society (MPS).

 

Research interests

Jia Jia research focus is on the field of clinical pharmacy & pharmacy practice with particular interest in telepharmacy and digital health.
