Presently, Dr Lee is interested in supervising PhD students who are interested in the intersection between responsible approaches to emerging technologies and enterprise, digital transformation, business models representing the future of work in creative/media/tech industries, artscience and management, and the role of games and gamifications in emerging business sectors.

Biography

Clarissa Ai Ling Lee (she/her) is a researcher and teacher who specializes in science, technology, and innovation (with particular interest in emerging technologies such as quantum technology), philosophy, media cultures (especially creative industries and social media), entrepreneurship, design research, foresight and futures studies, sustainability and technologies, and organizational behaviours (which connects to earlier work she has done on user experiences, user behaviours on social media, and adaptation to technological change).  She has a BSc (hons) in physics from Universiti Malaya, an MA in English Literature from Universiti Malaya, and a PhD in Literature (with a focus on literature and science, digital cultures, philosophy, and history of science/physics - you can find her dissertation here if you are curious.). She is interested in bringing new approaches to the world of business studies as well as business education through her backgrounds in the arts and sciences, and through her interest in alternative and hybrid modes of startups and enterprises.  To get a sense of her most recent publications, you can also check out her Research Gate profile.
