Khoa Cao

Khoa N. Cao is an Associate Professor of Medicine & Engineering at Monash University and an Associate Director of the Monash Institute of Medical Engineering. He is the Director of the Monash Medical Technology Lab (monashmed.tech), a research lab focused on the realisation of medical artificial general intelligence. 

Khoa completed his MBBS(Hons)/BMedSc(Hons) from Monash University, MPH at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and MS Engineering from Stanford University as a Fulbright Scholar, where he graduated from the prestigious Stanford Biodesign program. He has previously worked as a medical doctor at Austin Health and in medical AI & technology at the World Health Organization, IBM Watson, the University of Oxford, the University of California, San Francisco and Stanford University.
