Biography

Dr. Keith Ho completed his PhD in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from the University of Nottingham, where his doctoral research focused on the anti-inflammatory properties of medicinal plants, with particular emphasis on their molecular mechanisms in ocular diseases.

Keith began his academic career as a lecturer at Taylor’s University, contributing extensively to teaching core modules including Medical Microbiology, Medical Parasitology, Human Pathology and Human Physiology. His research bridges molecular genetics and disease therapeutics, with a particular focus on retinopathy, neurodegeneration, and other metabolic disorders. His work explores biomarker identification, gene regulation, and molecular mechanisms, to understand disease progression and uncover potential diagnostic and therapeutic targets.

Keith has published multiple first-author papers in ISI-indexed journals and holds intellectual property related to the therapeutic application of natural products in retinal inflammation. He is also actively involved in interdisciplinary collaborations and is pursuing national and international research grants.
