Personal profile

Kathryn Eastwood is a Research Fellow within the Prehospital Emergency Care -Australia and New Zealand (PEC-ANZ) Centre for Research Excellence. Her previous research has investigated the use of secondary telephone triage to divert low-acuity cases away from emergency ambulance dispatch to alternative care pathways.

Kathryn is an experienced Mobile Intensive Care Ambulance (MICA) paramedic with Ambulance Victoria since 2000 and she continues to practice in this role. Her involvement with the PEC-ANZ will ensure the research conducted is relevant and applicable to the current prehospital environment.
