Biography

Kate’s midwifery experience includes a Caseload continuity of care program and undergraduate Clinical Midwifery Education. Since joining Monash University in 2020 Kate has taught in the undergraduate program as a sessional capacity, and now teaches Advancing Midwifery Practice in the Master of Advanced Midwifery.

Kate’s Master’s research ‘Professional midwifery placement: Undergraduate students experiences with novice and expert midwives’ identified benefits and challenges and informs preceptorship training programs for registered midwives of all experience levels.
