Biography

Karinna is a Research Fellow in the Centre for Health Economics, Monash University. She was previously a Research Scientist at the University of York, UK, and a Chemical Engineer at CSIRO in the Process, Science and Engineering Division. Karinna has published in mathematical modelling, antimicrobial resistance and blood transfusion. Karinna's research interests include economic evaluations of healthcare interventions, PBAC submissions and RCTs, activity-based costing in the healthcare system and large-scale analysis of health and life sciences data. Karinna is passionate about improving health inequalities and using robust modelling to inform policy.
