Biography

Juan P. Meneses holds a Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences and specializes in deep learning methodologies and MRI-based image processing. His research focuses on physics-informed and generative models for advancing artificial intelligence in medical imaging, contributing to cutting-edge projects at leading institutions.

He is currently a Lecturer at the Department of Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences at Monash University, where he is involved in research and teaching in the fields of biomedical imaging and artificial intelligence. His work has been recognized with multiple awards, and he has authored numerous publications in high-impact journals, demonstrating a strong record of academic excellence and scientific contributions.

During his doctoral studies, he was awarded a scholarship from the Agencia Nacional de Investigación y Desarrollo (Chile), which funded his Ph.D. program. In addition to his research activities, he is committed to mentoring and training the next generation of researchers and professionals in biomedical imaging and AI.
