Biography

Associate Professor Jonathan Li is an Education-Focused Academic in the Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering department, and is serving as the Deputy Associate Dean Education (First Year Studies) for the Faculty of Engineering. His research interests include Engineering Education at Scale, Educational Technology, Student Engagement and Respect, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.

Prior to completing his PhD at the University of Melbourne in and joining Monash University in 2010, Jonathan worked for a startup company and Telstra Research Laboratories in optical fibre and wireless network optimisation. Jonathan completed his undergraduate studies in 2001 at the University of Western Australia attaining a double degree in Computer Science and Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
