Biography
Jonathan is physiotherapist, researcher, and educator.
He is currently working for the Monash Department of Clinical Epidemiology, Cabrini Institute as:
1. Project Officer for a national RCT on knee osteoarthritis management, and
2. Project Officer for a Victorian Department of Health (formerly DHHS) funded project aimed at improving use of evidence-based care in the Victorian public health system.
Jonathan is also employed by the Department of Physiotherapy, Monash University where he is currently unit coodinator for several Year 3 and Year 4 clinical related units. He maintains an active caseload as a private practice physiotherapist.
Jonathan submitted his PhD thesis in November 2020. His thesis focused on methods for conducting economic evaluations of health professions education. His overall research interest is in effective and efficient health services and health workforce development, and has previously conducted research on technology-enhanced learning, international skills migration, professional regulation, advanced practice roles, and undergraduate education.
