Biography

John joined Alfred Health in October 2014 as the Scientific Director of the Biostatistics Consulting Platform in the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences Monash University and The Alfred Hospital.  From February 2022 he assumed the role of Senior Expert Biostatistician in the Department of Clinical Haematology at The Alfred.  He obtained his PhD in Statistics, with a Minor in Genetics, from North Carolina State University (Raleigh).  His experience, gained at Peter Mac, Novartis AG and Deakin University, lies mainly in the design and analysis of oncology clinical trials (all phases) but his early-career experience was gained in the design and analysis of experiments in the food and agricultural sciences.
