Biography
Spanning a period of three decades devoted to medicine across two continents, A/Prof John Lubel has gained a broad perspective on healthcare across the globe. Representing the Gastroenterology Society of Australia (GESA) through his capacity as executive member of the Liver Faculty, John is directly involved with specialist guideline development, political engagement and consultation with government departments including MSAC and PBS. John is an ardent patient advocate, who strives for clinical excellence and patient-focused care in a safe and compassionate environment. John has the core values of honesty, integrity and collegiality with enthusiasm for education, motivating and mentoring.
