Biography

With a background in clinical neuropsychology and implementation science, Dr Godbee's research involves supporting health professionals to implement evidence for best practice. As part of the Monash-Epworth Rehabilitation Research Centre (MERRC) based at Epworth HealthCare Richmond, Dr Godbee works on implementing evidence-based care for cognitive and psychosocial consequences of moderate-to-severe traumatic brain injury, as well as the Longitudinal Head Injury Outcome study. She was previously Project Manager for the ENGAGEMENT Trial (Enhancing adherence and self-management in the treatment of respiratory conditions), evaluating whether self-management supports such as digital monitoring tools and telehealth consultations can enhance adherence and self-management in the treatment of asthma and COPD. Dr Godbee has also previously managed the HAPPI MIND Trial (the Holistic Approach in Primary care for Preventing Memory Impairment and Dementia), comparing the effectiveness of two interventions for assessing dementia risk and reducing dementia risk factors in middle-aged adults in the primary care setting.
