Biography

Dr Jianwen Jin is a research fellow with Prof. Jonathan Baell at the Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Science (MIPS).

Jin received Bachelor qualification from China Pharmaceutical University in 2010 and Master qualification from Fudan University in 2013. Jin started PhD candidature study with Prof. Philip Chan at Nanyang Technological University (NTU, Singapore) in 2013. Following with Prof. Philip Chan, Jin transferred PhD study to Monash University in 2015 and received PhD degree in 2018.  Prior to Join Prof. Jonathan Baell group in 2019 at MIPS, Jin undertook 1-year postdoctoral research at Chemistry Department of Monash University.

Jin’s researches focus on drug discovery, medicinal chemistry and synthetic chemistry.
