Biography

Jimmy Feng completed his PhD in Economics at the University of New South Wales and joined the Department of Banking and Finance in 2014.

Jimmy Feng specialises in population ageing research with focuses on both financial and physical security of ageing. His research on financial security of ageing centres around personal financial decisions related to retirement including but not limited to savings, investment, and draw-downs, with a particular focus on Australian's superannuation system. His research on physical securithy of ageing concentrates on physical disability of elderly and their long term care needs, with a special interest on Chinese population.
