Biography

Jessica Premier is a Lecturer in the School of Curriculum, Teaching and Inclusive Education, within the Faculty of Education at Monash University. She is the Course Leader of the Diploma of Tertiary Studies (DoTS) and Diploma of Higher Education (DoHE). Jessica teaches in the Bachelor of Education and Master of Teaching. Prior to working at Monash University, Jessica held classroom teaching and leadership positions in primary and secondary schools, and tertiary English language centres. She has experience teaching in Australia and Norway, which has shaped her research interests.

Jessica's research interests include English as an Additional Language (EAL), literacy, and issues related to equity and inclusion in education.
