Biography

Jenny Advocat, PhD is a clinician-researcher with expertise in qualitative methods.

Jen is a Research Fellow in the School of Primary and Allied Health Care, Monash University. He research spans many areas of primary care and General Practice with a focus on behaviour change, inter-disciplinary care and models of care. She has additional interests in mental health, refugee health and mindfulness for chronic illness. With collaborations across many years with primary care organisations, Jen has interest and expertise in engagement for real-work impact.

In addition to over a decade of research experience, Jen is a practicing Social Worker in youth mental health, working with adolescents and families to improve well-being.
