Biography

Dr Ray is an early career academic neurologist and headache sub-specialist. He completed undergraduate medical training in 2012,  fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2020 and completed his PhD in 2024. He currently has clinical appointments at Austin Health and Alfred Health, where he leads the headache research at the largest public headache service in Australia, and is a research fellow, Monash University.

Dr Ray leads several investigator and industry-sponsored clinical trials in headache medicine, and is pursing several research projects in headache care within Australia focusin on improving access to care, treatment options in refractory disease, and evaluating the safety and efficacy of new therapeutic options.
