Dr Zining (Janine) Liu is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow of the Neuroscience Department at Monash University. Her research focused on novel therapeutics in epileptogenesis/epilepsy and cardiac comorbidities.
Dr Liu, MSc, BSc is a PhD student in the Department of Neuroscience at Monash University. Before joining Monash, Janine received her BSc in Pharmaceutical Science from Fudan University, China, and her MSc in Gene Therapy from Imperial College London, UK. Janine completed her PhD at Monash University, Australia. Her PhD research project covers different perspectives on cardiac comorbidities in epilepsy, including the structural and functional cardiac abnormalities in animal models of TLE, the mechanism and prevention of the "Epileptic Heart", cardiac arrhythmias and genetics in patients with epilepsy.
