Biography
I am a Lecturer in the Faculty of Science at Monash University, where I contributes to teaching and program development within the Bachelor of Science Advanced – Global Challenges (Honours) program, faculty internship units and Career Skills for Scientist unit. My academic background includes a Bachelor of Science Advanced – Global Challenges (Honours) with an Immunology major and Microbiology minor, completed at Monash between 2014 and 2017.
My career reflects a blend of science communication, leadership training, and industry engagement. Before becoming a lecturer, I worked as a consultant at PwC Australia in the R&D Tax team and Grants team, and as a freelance writer for Cosmos Magazine for their written and radio content.
My professional skill set spans leadership, business strategy, teamwork, and communication, pitching, advocacy and more to shaping future science leaders.
My research interests focus on preparing students for the workforce, using an industry-informed basis for skill selection, and positioning Univesities as a natural stepping-stone to employment.
