Biography
Jacqui is a Registered Nurse interested in aged care and chronic illness management. Jacqui completed her Doctor of Philosophy in 2017, thesis entitled ‘Improving older people’s experience in transitional care: co-design of TRANSITION’ for which she was awarded the HESTA Award for Research Scholarship for outstanding research scholarship by a domestic PhD student at the Deakin University School of Nursing and Midwifery. From 2008 to 2018, Jacqui taught at Deakin University in the undergraduate and postgraduate programs in community health, research methods and chronic illness care. She commenced at Monash University in early 2019 and teaches in the undergraduate and post graduate programs.
