Biography

I obtained my PhD in Environmental Biotechnology from Kyushu Institute of Technology in 2021. Prior, I obtained my Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering from University of Minnesota and Master of Science in Environmental Biotechnology from UPM in 2012 and 2016, respectively. My research interest is on biomass utilization and recycling, focusing on carbonization and hydrothermal treatment of biomass from palm oil for production of value-added product such as bioadsorbents and cellulosic materials. At Monash, I am currently working as postdoctoral research fellow on biomass gasification project using CO2 captured from the oil and gas industry as gasification agent.
