Biography

Dr. Howgen Pratama Kesuma is an accomplished researcher and educator with a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering from Monash University, specializing in the design, analysis, and fabrication of one-port surface acoustic wave (SAW) resonator sensors. His research, published in prestigious journals, bridges innovation and application in fields like semiconductor fabrication, photolithography, and wireless sensor technologies.

Currently a Lecturer at Monash University Malaysia, Dr. Kesuma contributes significantly through teaching and project supervision. He has developed advanced learning modules, guided students in cleanroom procedures, and led innovative projects, including battery-less humidity sensors and ultra-compact photolithography systems. As an active participant in industry events like SEMICON SEA, he showcases groundbreaking research and strengthens industry-academic collaborations.

Beyond academia, Dr. Kesuma has a history of impactful leadership. As president of Engineers Without Borders (EWB) Monash Malaysia, he spearheaded community projects improving access to education and renewable energy in underserved areas.
