Personal profile


Dr Helen Hall is a senior lecturer, registered nurse and midwife. She has research and clinical experience spanning 30 years in a variety of hospital and community based settings. Helen has been involved with the education of midwives for the past ten years and is currently the Head of Nursing and Midwifery at the Peninsula campus.

Helen holds a PhD and a Masters in Midwifery (both from Monash University). Her research interests revolve around her work in maternity care with a focus on the use of integrative medical approaches. Helen holds a research fellowship with the Australian Research Centre in Complementary and Integrative Medicine (ARCCIM). Helen is particularly committed to education and research that improves the health outcomes of vulnerable populations.

Research Interests

Helen is interested in working with researchers and students with a qualitative or mixed methods approach in any area of women's health or integrative medicine.
