Biography

Dr Heidi Fettke is a Postdoctoral Researcher who completed her PhD in prostate cancer genomics at Monash University in 2020. After obtaining a Victorian Cancer Council ECR Postdoctoral Fellowship, she now leads pre-clinical liquid biopsy research associated with advanced prostate cancer trials under the leadership of A/Prof Nguyen-Dumont within the Clinical Genomics group at the Alfred Hospital. Her primary focus and expertise are in liquid biopsy research, circulating tumour DNA, assay R&D, and clinical genomics. She is currently working on identifying ctDNA markers associated with outcomes on novel radionuclide therapy and is accepting students with backgrounds in data science, bioinformatics, clinical genomics or similar.
