Biography

Hanaa Hegab is a research fellow in the Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering at Monash University. She received her Bachelor’s degree (2005) in Chemistry at Al-Azhar University, Egypt and MSc degree (2012) in Materials Science at the Institute of Graduate Studies & Research, Alexandria University. She was granted a KACST-Intel Consortium (CENA) scholarship at IMEC, Belgium (2011). She worked as a research assistant in the Advanced Technology and New Materials Research Institute “IATNM”, City of Scientific Research and Technological Applications, Alexandria, Egypt. Recently, she finished her PhD candidture in the School of Natural and Built Environment, University of South Australia (UniSA). Her research focuses on graphene-based polymeric composite membranes for waste treatment applications.
