Biography

Gloria Quinones is a lecturer in the Faculty of Education, Monash University, Australia and teaches undergraduate and post-graduate students. She was born in Monterrey, N.L., Mexico where she was an early childhood teacher. She has researched family and teaching practices, children's play, science and technology in early childhood and primary education settings in Mexico and Australia. Gloria uses cultural-historical and post-human perspectives to understand affect and play, understanding place and space.

Research interests

Early childhood education, cultural-historical theory, Post-human theory, visual Methodologies, babies and toddler education, pre-service teacher education.
