Biography

Gerri Spassova is a Senior Lecturer at at the Department of Marketing, Monash University (Caulfield, Melbourne). Gerri joined Monash University in 2010 after receiving her PhD in marketing from Cornell University (US). Her research is in the areas of information processing, decision making, and choice. Specifically, her work focuses on the following areas:

- Judgments of expetise and responsibility in consumer advice taking

- Assortment structure and choice

- The role of construal level in information processing

Gerri's work has been published in Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Retailing, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, and European Journal of Marketing.
