Biography
Adjunct Clinical Professor, Department of Surgery, Central Clinical School, Faculty of Medicine Nursing and Health Sciences, Monash University.
Head of Interventional Radiology and Consultant Diagnostic & Interventional Radiologist, Alfred Health.
Professor Goh completed his medical training and Radiology training in Adelaide. He has worked at the Beaumont Hospital, Dublin, Ireland where he was also a Clinical Lecturer in Interventional Radiology for the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland and at St George’s Hospital, London, UK where he was also an Honorary Senior Lecturer for St George’s University of London.
He is a council member for the European Board of Interventional Radiology (EBIR) for the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE) and the treasurer, executive board and committee member of the Asia Pacific Society of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology (APSCVIR). In addition hs is an honorary research fellow for the National Trauma Research Institute.
In addition to a strong interest in research he has been involved with a number of clinical trials and first-in-human trials.
He is a regularly invited international speaker having given over 180 invited presentations, been involved with over 45 workshops and authored 3 book chapters. He is an associate editor for the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology journal and the Journal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Oncology and is a peer reviewer for several international journals.
His areas of interest include vascular and complex vascular interventions, embolisation, trauma and clinical trials.
