Dr Martin is a clinician researcher based at the Alfred Hospital (Melbourne) where she is undertaking specialist training with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. She completed her doctoral training at the University of Oxford conducting research into the T cell immune response during early HIV infection, and the relevance of this to HIV cure strategies. Dr Martin has research interests in host responses to viral infections, and immunological therapies for infectious disease.
