Biography
Gabriella Tikellis is an Epidemiologist who joined the Australasian Cochrane Centre in May 2015 as a Senior Research Fellow to work on the South-East Asia-Using Research for Change in Hospital Acquired Infection in Neonates (SEA-URCHIN) project where she is involved in the development of manuscripts that report on key findings from this study.
In addition to her role at ACC, Gabriella also works as a Research Fellow/Project Manager on the International Childhood Cancer Cohort Consortium based at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute where her research interests include early determinants of infant health outcomes. As an epidemiologist, she was worked in a number of research areas which include eye diseases (retinopathy, macular degeneration, cataract), diabetes, CVD, obesity and cancer.
Gabriella has a Graduate Diploma in Epidemiology and Biostatistics and a PhD in Ophthalmic Epidemiology.
