Personal profile


Gabriele Lattanzio is a senior lecturer in the Department of Banking and Finance.

Gabriele completed his PhD and joined Monash in 2020. Prior to that, he completed a Bachelor of Economics and Finance from Bocconi University (Milan, Italy) in 2013, and a Master in International Management with a concentration in Energy, Natural Resources and the Environment from the Norwegian School of Economics (Bergen, Norway) in 2015. He completed his PhD in Finance at the University of Oklahoma (Norman, OK, USA) in 2019, and he worked as a Visiting Faculty Member in Finance at the Southern Methodist University (Dallas, TX, USA) from 2019 to 2020.

Gabriele's research research interests are in empirical corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, law and finance and financial economics. He has published in internationally refereed journals including the Journal of Quantitative and Financial Analysis.
