Biography
Euniza joined Monash University as an academic staff member in August 2023, following the completion of her PhD at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in 2018. Her expertise centres on highway and traffic engineering, climate-responsive pavement technology, and sustainable material innovation, supported by extensive experience in asphalt and concrete design with comprehensive laboratory and field testing. She also contributes to educational quality as the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) Coordinator, supporting curriculum mapping, learning outcome evaluation, and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen teaching and student learning experiences.
Her current work focuses on microplastic-modified pavements through laboratory and simulation studies, asphaltic concrete technologies across hot-mix, warm-mix, and cold-mix systems, the use of nanomaterials for pavement enhancement, climate-responsive pavement design, and smart asset management strategies. She also serves as a material and design expert appointed by the Public Works Department (JKR) to the review and revision committee for the ATJ 5/85 Manual, contributing specialised technical input to the development of this national pavement design standard.
