Biography
Professor Emma-Jaye Gavin, PhD is a Garrwa Aboriginal woman from Northern Australia.
She is a Professor of Politics and International Relations in the School of Social Sciences in the Faculty of Arts at Monash University Australia.
Her research and teaching areas are: Indigenous International Relations, Domestic and International Politics, Truth-Telling, and Class Studies.
She is Editor of the Journal of Australian Indigenous Issues, and the Oceania Co-Lead of the Alliance of Working-Class Academics.
PhD supervisions:
I have availability to supervise First Nations students whose proposed research focuses on:
- Indigenous International Relations
- Indigenous politics
- truth-telling
- working-class issues
Unfortunately, I am not currently available to supervise projects outside these areas.
