Biography

Elaine Hutson completed her PhD at the University of Technology, Sydney, in 1999. Before joining Monash University in 2012, she held positions at the University of Technology, Sydney (1990-1999), Dublin City University (1999-2001), and University College Dublin (2002-2011).

She is an associate editor for Emerging Markets Review and Research in International Business and Finance, and is on the editorial board of JASSA – The Finsia Journal of Applied Finance and the Journal of Teaching in International Business. She recently finished a 5-year stint as subject area editor (International Finance) for the International Review of Financial Analysis.

Elaine has published over 40 papers including 30 in refereed finance and international business journals such as the Journal of International Business StudiesJournal of Corporate FinanceJournal of Banking and FinanceJournal of Empirical Finance, and International Business Review.

Teresa Hogan (2005); thesis entitled Financing in the indigenous Irish software sector. Teresa works at Dublin City University.
